The Woodman `Universal` version has all the features of the Simplex versions with the addition of a versatile product configurator.

Each product design consists of a list of timber, panel and hardware parts and labour processes which can be specified using variables, formulae and options. Similar components of different sizes can be batched together under a common part reference and additional machining processes such as mortising and drilling can be specified with sizes and positions. Each component type can include a detailed drawing produced on any CAD software. 

Products ranges can be built up by copying and modifying similar products. Estimates and Production Orders can be quickly processed by designating the standard options and variables required then specifying each product design reference with a quantity and size. Any products with non standard options or variables can be modified as required.

The printed estimating reports are similar to those of the Simplex version previously described.

The production documentation provides a comprehensive range of reports including: -

• Assembly Parts Lists for each product item with optional assembly time allowances.  
• Cutting Lists for timber and panel components.  
• Mill Component Batch Schedules with optional machining time allowances.
• Schedules for mortising and drilling.
• A Hardware/Fittings requirement summary.
• A Materials Summary with quantities and costs.
• A Total Cost Summary showing build up of total cost of the order.
• An Item Cost Summary showing the cost of each product.
